14 Aug Structura Wins Bronze at The Stevie Awards for Excellence in Circular Economy Practices

We’re proud to share that Structura has been named a Winner for Excellence in Circular Economy Practices at the The Stevie® Awards.
Selected from nearly 4,000 entries, alongside companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, DHL Express and KPMG, this award marks an important milestone for our team. It recognises our work on projects like The National Gallery and Mountbatten House, where we have enabled extracted glass to be recycled back into architectural grade glass, raising the bar for what recycling should mean in our industry.
For us, circularity is not a nice-to-have, it is essential. Without it becoming standard practice, the UK cannot meet its Net Zero 2050 goals as this contributes to low carbon products for future use. Glass manufacturers such as Guardian Glass Europe Nexa and Saint-Gobain Orae have developed specialist systems to collect this waste, with low carbon bi-products now on the market. These products have lower scope 3 emissions than typical, which paves the development for a Net Zero plan for those purchasing and supplying this to our clients. We remain committed to pushing these practices forward so future generations inherit a truly sustainable built environment, with the help of partners such as May Glass Recycling Ltd.
The judges said:
“Structura’s strengths in both environmental leadership and business transformation are clear. Their focus on actively pushing the envelope of circularity, still rare in architectural glazing, is impressive. Projects like the National Gallery and Mountbatten House make a strong case for sustainable retrofitting in heritage contexts.”
“As a certified Carbon-Neutral and triple ISO-certified company, Structura has earned the trust of the UK’s leading architects, surveyors, owners and managers.”
A sincere thank you to the Stevie Awards judges for their recognition, and congratulations to all fellow winners.
