Finalists at The UK Company Culture Awards

Company culture isn’t something you get to win at. It’s not a race; it’s an ever-evolving endeavour. At Structura we have been focused on this area over recent years, and it’s a pleasure to announce that we have been shortlisted in the UK Company Culture Awards in two categories: Best Cultural Transformation and Best Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Initiative.

We recently shared our Gold Autistica NDEI Award, which has been a fantastic accolade. During this process we collected employee feedback. Rather than speak on their behalf, we felt it was more important to share their voices directly – after all, they are the ones experiencing and shaping these changes day to day:

‘When we were first introduced to the aspect of the neurodiversity culture by my company I thought it was another box ticking exercise. But with the more courses and workshops that we have undertaken it has enlightened my understanding of people not only in my workplace but in the wider world. It’s not just how neurodiverse people can be assisted but what benefits that they can bring to a company. I really appreciate the effort to make our workplace more neuro inclusive.’

‘Structura are by far the most caring/compassionate company I have ever worked for and they have certainly looked after me. And this makes you want to try even harder in your job role and go above and beyond, because the management/directors go above and beyond for me.’

Congratulations to our Directors for having the vision of change and continuing to act on it. Monthly food truck socials, Mental Health first aiders, Neuro Ambassadors as well as sustainability targets being reached and career development being encouraged all contribute to making this a workplace to be proud of, which is lucky as we are now Employee Owned, we are all involved in making the changes a success.

Congratulations to all nominees, we look forward to meeting you at the Awards ceremony in May.
