A clean new look and additional lettable space for this landmark building in Wimbledon.
PURPOSE OF THE WORK:
To significantly increase lettable space and improve the appearance of the building.
WHAT WE DELIVERED:
- New curtain walling and glazing to give this old building a sleek, modern look
- Existing retained windows were refurbished and re-sprayed in situ
- New scalloped curtain wall to unify the new upper stories with the original building
- Innovative use of Schueco FW50+ Vertical Façade System with bespoke pressed metal panelling
- Bespoke faceted aluminium coping
BENEFITS:
The building has 1700m of new lettable space and a BREEAM rating of Very Good.
